SERVICES

Individualized evaluations and thoughtful medication management are our priority. In our experience, insurance does not reimburse sufficiently for the time required to deliver this level of care. As a result, we do not accept Medicaid or commercial insurance. Our services are priced at an hourly rate, similar to the prices of regional psychiatrists.

Step 1 ~ Initial Caregiver Consultation

This hour-long, virtual consultation is required for all patients and allows us to better understand your child, your family, and your concerns.  Consultations are scheduled in the evenings, so that you do not have to take time off from work. We encourage our families to complete all intake forms thoroughly, with as much detail as possible. Included in the cost is a thorough review of any documentation you submit during registration; including any medical records, therapy notes, or prior evaluations. This is all necessary to develop an individualized plan for your child.

But not all children will need an assessment, and this intake can help us guide you in the options. This appointment can also be used to ask questions, to seek general advice, or to obtain information about resources in the community.

Ultimately, we will ensure you have all necessary information and cost estimates to help guide your decisions.

Initial Consultation Cost ~ $500.00

Payment for service is required in full prior to your appointment.

Step 2 ~ Patient Assessment

Evaluations are usually conducted over one day, scheduled on a weekend, and can be completed in your home or an affiliate office. We do not believe in excessive, stressful, or unnecessary testing, which is why thorough review of records is important.

Occasionally, additional observations are needed due to complex or atypical presentations and this will be discussed as needed. All testing is performed by your physician. Preliminary results and a brief plan of action will be provided the same day if possible, with a comprehensive report to follow. If medication management is indicated, we will mention this possibility and provide resources for you to review prior to feedback.

Cost of assessment is estimated based on caregiver's concerns, patient interview, record review, patient age, and preferred assessment location.

Step 3 ~ Feedback

Review and discussion of results, treatment and interventions will occur virtually on a separate day, typically within one week, also scheduled in the evening. A separate appointment is required for us to process all of the information obtained, and for you to gather your thoughts and questions.  If recommended and family is interested; follow-up testing and/or medication recommendations will be discussed at this appointment.

We will be available before or after the process to answer any brief questions and bridge the assessment results with needed school accommodations, standard medical follow-up with your child's Pediatrician, and recommended community services. This access model enables each family to have all of their needs met beyond simply a report and discharge. We look forward to developing a plan together.

As Needed - Medication Management

Medication management is currently only offered to patients who have completed an assessment through our center, or were referred by a community partner. We do not accept referrals strictly for medication management. While we are happy to consult with your Pediatrician regarding medication recommendations, the decision to offer medication management through the clinic is made at the discretion of the treating physician.

As Needed - Family Support Events

Occasionally we are asked to attend community events or appointments to assist with patient advocacy. With enough notice, we are happy to provide this service to our current member families.
